Yesterday I took my sis to an empty spot where she can drive. She applied for her driving license but knows NOTHING I mean NOTHING about driving.. that’s when I realized that she has a fear of driving which is a big issue ..I mean she wanna learn and drive but afraid to, although we were driving in a safe place,there was no car no one totally empty but she kept asking “what if what if what if” which drove me crazy..
My friends know that one of the most things i hate is to wear a seat belt.. well I was wearing it IN THE EMPTY SPOT lol sandddd nothing was there nadddaaaaa! Oh god she didn’t know what was she doing..the worst part was when I asked her to drive back home..which was like less then a block far..slowly slowly she starts taking her leg off the breaks, she was under control with cute lil smile on her face..when she suddenly noticed a car coming from behind (3enkom matshoof illa al noor) she actually opened the door and went out of the car , I jumped like crazy from my seat to the drivers seat to stop the car!.. she was out of her mindddd no break no parking nothing nothing !! LOL you had to see her face she was shocked.. didn’t show her that I was about to kill her I asked her to cool down nothing was wrong and aslan the car was LOL 100 miter far from us!!
This is only the beginning … my next assignment is to show her KUWAIT.. she doesn’t know directions ..
How can i help her pass over this fear ??

First of all, it is nice of you to teach your sister how to drive, and stand by her.
it is clear that your sister lacks information, becuase you mentioned that she asked so many questions, in afraid you added to her fear by letting her drive, what you should do is the following, first set down with her at home, and explain to her verbally all aspects about an automobile, the name of each part in a car, the role of each part, and how to function and handle each part, step two, explain to her how to drive, give her some time to close her eyes and try to visualize it into her mind, then asks her to take notes, and she might want to ask you more questions, answer them with a big smile:) then tell her to choose a time for a drive lesson, go into the car with her, and now restate all what you've discussed at home, tell her when ever your feel ready start the car and take your time :)

So u think i was wrong by letting her drive,hmm yeah i think your right!!
We do talk a lot about cars and driving..even while we`re in the car she asks a lot i mean shes so interested..but her fear is that she thinks that she wont manage it while she hits the road and be middle of thousands cars.
But i never tried Step 2..i will try that and let you know how did it go!! thanks for your helppppp!:)

well for starters, am glad ur wearing ur seat belt now! :D second, when i see ur sis.... WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA she is the cutest!!!!!!!!!!!! she jumped out of the car??!?!?!??!!? LOL. as for helping her get out of the fear, takes time, just keep driving in the empty slot for a while and slowly move out and make her wear the seat belt so she doesnt jump out again :P

Hehehe! know what made me scared at the beginning? My dad was in the car next to me o we are on the 5th ring road heading to uni; fa he was going like: "kheffe ya Bana, Kheffe ne7na 3al jesr you never know what's waiting below" OKOK BABA o suddenly, a waneet starts flipping o ended on its top wheels up and thank god nothing serious bas it was loaded be paint cans fa when the guys inside came out they were "masbogein" ... then i took easy for a while.
